A fantastic local experience about how Arabica coffee is grown and processed. Learn how it is planted, harvested, then the process of peeling out the outer skin, dried, roasted, grinded, boiled and lastly brewed. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with the amazing smell and taste prepared by local tools.
Walking around the village and nearby places will give you a chance to learn the way people live, and their daily activities. We will also visit farms and plantations to see the agricultural activities of the locals. During this tour you will get a chance to visit a local banana beer factory which is very special to this region and enjoyed by many locals. Lastly, stop at view points where you can see the view of the village, Mount Meru, and Mount Kilimanjaro during sunset.
Here the guest gets a chance to have a walk around the town and visit the central market to see how local people sell their products such as vegetables, fruits and spices. After, a visit to the maasai market to see local works of arts and opportunity to buy different cultural items. The last stop will be the Arusha Cultural Center where there is extensive local shopping along with a huge multi-level art gallery next door that appears more like a museum.
Guests will enjoy locally cooked, traditional foods of various tribes such as Maasai, Meru, Chagga and others as a guide will explain each food, its preparation and information about its tribe.
Learn how to paint in the traditional style that you have seen while in Tanzania. You can pick from your favorite Maasai paintings at the studio and learn the techniques from the local artists to recreate it.

Visit the traditional way of living for the Maasai in Manduli village. Tour and Maasai experience included but please consider supporting the locals by purchasing a few items (like jewelry) which the village appreciates. Also feel free to make further donations to the village to help maintain this rich, traditional way of life.
Oldonyo Masi, also known as Black Toto, is an easy hike to a small mountain near Arusha city. This will give you an opportunity to find many good views of the town and landscapes in Arusha. You will come across various plants and small animal species (like monkeys) as well as birds. This is an easy going nature tour.
Starting at Mount Meru Hotel, you will walk up to the waterfall passing many different homes of the local Maasai (modern) while viewing the various gorgeous mountains. After, you will head into the lush jungle and follow the river to this beautiful waterfall, where you can take a swim before hiking back. Overall, it is almost 20km (12 miles) to and from the waterfall.
Pick up from your hotel/home and drive to Napuru Waterfall. After we park, it is about a 20 minute walk to the waterfall. Feel free to take a dip and swim at this beautiful waterfall.
Walking tour to Nduruma River where you can enjoy seeing natural springs, caves, birds, monkeys and various species of plants.
Visit the picturesque Hot Springs of Chemka. With its pristine, clear, turquoise, waters let your troubles melt away as you soak in the famous spring. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, use the rope swing to make a real splash! Transportation, entrance, drinks, lunch and photos included.
A cycling tour around the village up to Lake Duluti, a small crater lake where you can enjoy its view and bird watching. Enjoy a refreshment or a bite to eat at the lakeside.
